My Husband and so stumbled upon this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised at how good it was! We went on Mother's Day so the place was pretty busy but the staff were very diligent in getting to every customer. We ordered the Chengdu Wontons (forgot to take a pic), Beef Lomein and Braised Beef Noodle Soup. All the items were delicious and given in great quantity for the prices. Would definitely recommend!

One of my favourite restaurants in west hartford! They're serving up the most authentic Chinese dishes, mostly in the form of small sharing plates, so that means more for you try. Whether it's dumplings or Dan Dan noodles, this is the spot to go. If it's a spicy peanut sauce you're looking for, nowhere does it better! Everything I've ordered here has been consistently delicious. The takeout service is also top notch (but if you're craving soup dumplings, better to order in person). Many of my favorite dishes are on the oily side, but incredibly flavorful and never greasy. My recommendations are the Dan Dan noodles (so good I sometimes order 2), seven flavor wonton, soup dumplings, scallion pancake roll, and twice cooked pork noodles. The service is incredibly fast yet the food comes out hot and fresh every time. They offer great recommendations if you're not sure what to order, and can help steer you in the right direction. The price is also super reasonable, which is refreshing for a high quality restaurant in the center.

I love that we have an authentic, friendly, casual spot in West Hartford that is hits the spot and offers convenient access downtown. We shared a beef noodle soup, and also tried the dim sum pork spare ribs. The flavor was indeniably authentic. And the noodles had a great QQ texture that let me know there obviously hand made. Service was friendly and efficient, and the servers spoke both Chinese and English.

Was craving some soup and decided to give this place a try. Located in West Hartford center. Street parking. Service we were greeted right away and seated. The server was very attentive abs friendly. Had a lot of small talk. I ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Soup Dumplings and shrimp lo mein. All was good. The soup especially hit the spot for me. They only had wine and beer I believe, as they do not have a liquor license. Will def be back when in town.

I came here on a Friday after work for dinner with my husband. We love this place but hadn't been in a while so we're so excited to get back. We were able to get a table and place our order right away. Per usual the food was amazing. I did order the bean curd with stewed beef for the first time and I highly recommend it. It was so different and flavorful, and well worth the price. Overall a fantastic visit and I highly recommend stopping in.

This is my first time here.! This is one of three restaurants owned by the owner of Han Restaurant in Hartford and Shu Restaurant in West Hartford. This is Chinese Szechuan cuisine. Here is what we enjoyed: Tsingtao: This is a Chinese beer. It was nice and cold. It goes well with this meal. Dandan Noodles: Dandan noodles is a noodle dish originating from Chinese Sichuan cuisine. It consists of a spicy sauce usually containing preserved vegetables, lower enlarged mustard stems, or upper mustard stems), chili oil, Sichuan pepper, minced pork, and scallions served over noodles. The dish can either be served dry or as a noodle soup. Steamed Vegetable Dumplings : Amy, a friend of Nebula Trip, is a vegetarian. Seaweed wonton soup: This is a nice variation of the traditional wonton soup. Wonton soup is a bouillon-like soup containing cooked, delicate wontons: dumplings filled with pork and/or shrimp mixed with some vegetables, soy sauce and sesame oil. Sometimes there are still noodles or vegetables such as bok choy in the soup, spring onions or chives are often sprinkled over it. Kendall Jackson Reisling: This is a crisp wine with layers of apricot, peach and orange blossom blend with bursts of aromatic jasmine and a wonderful finish. Chicken & Green Peppers Pancake Roll: A pancake roll is an item of Chinese food consisting of a small roll of thin crisp pastry filled with vegetables and sometimes meat. Chengdu Dumplings (pork): Chengdu dumplings are a type of Chinese dumpling that originated in the city of Chengdu, in the Sichuan province of China. They are typically made with a ground pork filling, and are known for their spicy flavor. Chengdu dumplings are often served in a soup, or with a dipping sauce. Mala Bamboo shoots: This is the hottest dish of the night (next to my braised beef soup). Mala is a spicy and numbing seasoning made from Sichuan peppercorn and chilli. Most commonly, mala is made into a sauce by simmering it in oil and other spices. Characteristic of Sichuan cuisine, particularly Chongqing cuisine, it has become one of the most popular ingredients in Chinese cuisine, spawning many regional variants. Avocado Shrimp : At first, the green topping looks like wasabi, but it's not. It's finely mashed avocado with a cool presentation. Sautéed Pork and Anaheim Peppers Soup: These are very mild. These are really called New Mexico chiles. Braised Beef Noodle Soup: This was pretty spicy so beware. Braising is simply a cooking method that involves browning meat or vegetables in oil, then cooking them in a small amount of liquid in a covered pan, either on the stovetop or in the oven. The long, slow cook time helps develop flavor and turn even the toughest of meat cuts fork-tender. Multi-spiced boiled egg: This unusual add on was found on the lower right hand corner of the menu. It is very unique. It gives the egg a much better Royce but it will not overwhelm you and isn't spicy . Sichuan Spicy Potatoes: This was the surprise of the day. These are really (very) lightly cooked crinkle cut French fries ! The seasoning they use is unbelievably good! Seven Flavor Wonton: These are damn good ! The Seven Flavor Wontons are tender dumplings showered in ground peanuts and sliced green onions. A bowl of Sichuan noodles combined peanuts with minced pork, peppers and cilantro, plus daikon, bok choi and sliced scallions. Mix it all together in a colorful jumble, pick up chopsticks, and enjoy. Twice Cooked Pork Pancake Roll: This was what I ordered. It's not very doing but has a fantastic taste. Sweet Zongzi: This is a dessert but it is not "sweet" at all. Zongzi ([tsŋ.ts]; Chinese: 粽子), rouzong (Chinese: 肉粽; Peh-ōe-jī: bah-chàng) or simply zong (Cantonese Jyutping: zung2) is a traditional Chinese rice dish made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves (generally of the species Indocalamus tessellatus), or sometimes with reed or other large flat leaves. They are cooked by steaming or boiling. In the Western world, they are also known as rice dumplings or sticky rice dumplings. These were not wrapped in bamboo leaves. The outer coating is a thick rice, moist paste. I think it's streamed. The inside is a dry bean paste. A unique flavor. Sweet Deep Fried Bun: These are tasty! They are actually found on the "snack" menu. They come with a delicious, sweet sauce. Chinese donuts ? These are off-menu absolutely delicious fried donuts with a crispy outer coating. There were complementary for Paul's birthday. Yes, I stole a few. Everything on this menu was great !

Located just outside of blue back square, definitely worth checking out if your looking for delicious Taiwanese food just 30 mins of the Bradley airport. The cucumber salad was so refreshing and flavorful I would rank these above DTFs. Everything came out quick and there isn't a dish we didn't love. The biggest surprise of our meal was the giant soup dumplings! Very massive, it caught us by surprise. The chili wonton are a MUST get item because they were juicy and plumb with just amount of sweetness and spiciness to it.
